Heavy equipment transporters

VOLAT light armoured vehicles (LAV) are intended for use as a basic product for the creation of special vehicles for operational and tactical purposes for the installation and transportation of special equipment on all types of roads and explored terrains, transportation and protection of the crew from small arms damage and damage effects of explosive devices.

The highly unified LAV family is capable of handling the most demanding tasks. The applied technical solutions ensure the optimal parameters of the products. Ergonomics, dynamics, safety and reliability of the chassis ensure its use in the most severe operating conditions.

Light armored vehicles

VOLAT Armored Personnel Carriers is a new course in the JSC Minsk Wheel Tractor Plant portfolio. VOLAT APCs meeting all modern technical requirements of the world arms market have been developed through the experience gained during decades, conducted comprehensive and multifactorial studies of trends in the sphere of military equipment development.

VOLAT APCs are designed to transport personnel to the place of performing combat missions, providing fire support, protection against small arms and explosive devices, destruction of enemy forces, anti-tank weapons, light armored vehicles and tanks as well as low-speed enemy air targets.

Armored personnel carriers

To make service for our customers easier and more effective in severe difficult terrains, Volat has developed the new generation of transport vehicles. The MZKT-6001 series chassis provide new level of mobility and cost-effectiveness for military, peace-keeping and rescue units. The MZKT-6001 series of highly-standardised chassis is a full range of models with the axle configuration 4x4, 6x6 and 8x8, designed for transportation of both personnel and cargo as well as to carry various special-purpose equipment and weapon systems.

6001 Series

The MZKT-543 Series is the famous vehicle range with a rich history that goes back to the times of the USSR. The Series comprises all-wheel drive four-axle vehicles with different configurations: MZKT-543A and MZKT-543M chassis and MZKT-74106 truck tractor. The chassis boasts the bearing capacity of up to 22 tons, and the fifth-wheel coupling has the capacity of up to 18 tons. Vehicles of the Series serve as the basis for S-300, S-400, Smerch, Bereg and Rubezh weapon systems.

543 Series

The MZKT-6527 Series includes all-wheel drive three- and four-axle vehicles with the bearing capacity of 9 to 18.5 tons. The vehicles may host radio detection stations, telescoping towers, troposphere observation stations, as well as air defense command centers.

6527 Series

Volat offers the unique comprehensive solutions for its potential customers to convert weapons from crawler platforms to wheel platforms. The MZKT-6922 series of standardised hull chassis is designed to carry short-range and medium-range surface-to-air missile systems. The MZKT-6922 series chassis preserved all best features of similar crawler vehicles, with the advantages of wheeled vehicles acquired.

6922 Series

The MZKT-7930 series is the leader on the Russian market of military chassis in the load capacity range from 17.8 to 24 tons. This vehicle is used to carry well-known weapon systems, such as Iskander operational-tactical missile systems, Bal-E, Bereg and Bastion coastal anti-ship missile systems, antenna posts for S-400 surface-to-air missile systems and lots of other systems.

7930 Series

A series of all-wheel drive chassis with 4x4 to 6x6 axle arrangement. Chassis of the series host missile launchers, radio detection stations and Pechora-2M air defense command centers.
