IDEX-2021, the 15th International Defense Exhibition has been recently closed in Abu Dhabi (UAE). For five days, the event was attended by more than 60 thousand visitors. 900 exhibitors from 59 countries took part in IDEX and NAVDEX, 35 international pavilions were presented at the exhibition, 5 countries took part in the exhibition for the first time.
Minsk Wheel Tractor Plant, OJSC together with the official partner of the enterprise in the UAE presented MZKT-490101 lightly-armored vehicle and MZKT-741351 tank transporter. Five-seat LAV MZKT-490101 is designed to transport and protect the crew fromdamaging effects of small arms and explosive devices (2nd-level ballistic protection under STANAG 4569; mine protection - 2a/2b under STANAG 4569). MZKT-741351 semi-trailer truck, exhibited at the stand, is already in service in the army of the United Arab Emirates and is designed to carry up to 3 units of tracked/wheeled combat vehicles simultaneously as part of a road train.
During the exhibition, meetings and negotiations with representatives of the military departments of the Gulf States, Southeast Asia, African countries and manufacturers of armament and equipment mountable on wheeled chassis were held.
